Being a photographer sometimes allows you to be witness to some of the most important moments of someone's life. Today, I'm going to share a personal moment from my life with you. As many of you know, my mom passed away last year from colon cancer.
I am thrilled that my dad has found love and companionship again. His fiance is a woman who my parents have known for 42 years. As a matter of fact, Barbara's husband, who passed away from cancer 7 years ago was in my parents wedding and I believe my dad was in her wedding.
When dad told me he was going to ask Barbara to marry him and wanted me to photograph the event, I said "Are you sure you want me there?" (thinking that this is usually a private event between a man and a woman), but his response to me was that he wanted this on film (or in digital format).
So, here are the pictures.
Enjoy!
Just before Dad popped the question. (Doesn't he look nervous)

(Aren't they cute?)
