Megan and Wayne get married.

Megan and Wayne were married in mid-November. It was a beautiful and fun wedding and a very special day. Dave and I have known Wayne for several years now and we are so happy for both of you. Congratulations and may God richly bless your marriage.

It's been a while

It's been a while since I've blogged, but I've been incredibly busy. Over the next few days, I'll be posting some of the people I've photographed in the last 2 months. In the meantime, here is our family's Christmas card.

Seniors!!

I can't believe that these two young ladies are seniors. I had them both when they were in middle school in my music class a few years ago. When they called me to do their senior portraits this summer, I just about fell out of my chair. It seems like they were in my classroom yesterday!

Getting ready for the prom?

Last week, we decided to have my boys try on their clothes for their grandpa's wedding. Since I have a studio in my home, as soon as they got their clothes on, I herded them into my studio. Joey did an awesome job looking dapper, but Danny barely stood still. Here are some of the pictures I took of them. They look like they are getting ready to go to the prom. Hopefully that won't happen for another 12-14 years!

Beautiful Nora!

I was so blessed to be able to photograph my friend Tessa, her husband Shane and their brand new daughter, Nora. Shane and Tessa were blessed with their daughter Nora through the miracle of adoption. Tessa and I have been friends for years and she watched us go through the adoption process and bring both of our boys home. When I heard that Shane and Tessa were praying about adopting, I was thrilled for them. When they told me that they were matched with a precious birthmother, I was over the moon!

They are wonderful parents and it is so obvious from watching them and from these pictures how much the are in love with their baby girl. Praise God!!

Megan and Wayne's Engagement photos

I met Megan and Wayne at Cascade Park to photograph their engagement pictures a few days ago. It was sprinkling when we started, but the rain soon went away. They are such an adorable couple and we had a lot of fun with this session.
